MY APPROACH
Bringing Healing Full Circle
My focus is to acknowledge the four elements of our being; mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. When we are out of balance we see the effects displayed in our behavior, thought processes, our physical health, and how we connect on a spiritual level. We are interconnected and interrelated to each other, therefore our relationship with ourselves and others is foundational and means everything. Creating awareness and offering insight into these areas is the first step to working toward bringing healing full circle.
MENTAL
Recognizing our Beliefs and Values
Our mental thought processes contribute to our overall well being. We can examine our beliefs and values to gain an understanding of our current story however we need to also examine how we see ourselves in relation to others and to ourselves. Developing this awareness is empowering and is done by using the theory of various therapeutic modalities such as schema therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy. Priority is driven by your preference and comfort in every session.

EMOTIONAL
How we Share Our Experiences and Expressions
Providing a safe space to release and share complex and unexplored emotions is imperative. This is done through the support of narrative therapy while exploring feelings that are new and also feelings that resurface again and again. Here we explore your experiences, and expressions you have used in past and current situations. The process of feelings is imperative to be able to move forward in a wholistic way of healing.

PHYSICAL
Knowing and Understanding our Bodies
Trauma and past experiences not only stay in our minds and emotions but also impacts our nervous systems; our bodies. We experience our relationships wholeheartedly and therefore need to heal the body while we are caring for the mind and emotions.  When our experiences are negative such as abuse, violence, torture, and trauma, our bodies carry the memory until the energy is processed and released. In doing so, we still need to live and carry on with our daily responsibilities and lifestyle. I offer ways to explore this and bring awareness to the importance of how we need to come to know and understand our experiences. Understanding the reconnection in relationships helps to simultaneously safely connected to yourself.

SPIRITUAL
Activating and Applying our Total Being
Spirituality is a vehicle that creates a space for action to be carried out of how we apply what we hold in mental, emotional, and physical spaces. Drawing from spirituality aids in healing no matter what the beliefs and values are. We are spiritual beings living the human experience. This is what brings the healing full circle when we can step back and curiously observe all elements of our being and strive for balance for a wholistic experience.
